Build your own floating wind demonstration with this 3D-printable Tension-Leg Platform (TLP), a foundation type used in deep-water offshore wind farms. This model is compatible with our wind turbine 3D print files, making it perfect for educational displays, engineering showcases, or renewable energy enthusiasts.

Printing Instructions:

 

📏 TLP – Print right way up with 20% infill to balance buoyancy and weight
🛠 Add support for the horizontal beams to ensure print accuracy

Anchoring & Stability:

 

⚓ Anchoring Required – The TLP needs anchor lines (thin rope) and anchors (small fishing weights) to pull the structure below water level, just like in real offshore applications.You can tie anchoring lines to the connection points for realistic floating wind demonstrations.

 

This model is designed to work with our wind turbine 3D print files, allowing you to create a realistic floating wind setup.
