What better way to learn than doing hands-on #offshorewind installation at a beach and model penetrometer testing in a lab at the University of Melbourne! This week our students in CVEN90071 Offshore Wind Geotechnical Engineering have a fun day out at Port Melbourne beach installing various fixed bottom and floating wind foundations! In addition, we also conducted T-bar and piezocone penetrometer tests in a practical session. It has been a very busy week and stay tune for more exciting update!
