I wish every day at work was an OffshoreWind4Kids day! We hosted our first public demo day in Atlantic City, where we spoke with families on the beach about offshore wind energy and engaged them with a hands-on activity to learn about the technology and wind energy engineering. The following day we welcomed the Rutgers Future Scholars Program, an initiative we support annually, dedicated to providing first-generation, low-income, academically promising middle school students the opportunity for a college education. They received a more in-depth look at offshore wind in our ECO Center, followed by fun experimentation with different foundation types on the beach.
