Proud sponsors Atlas Professionals along with BlueFloat Energy New Zealand & Elemental Group Limited brought OffshoreWind4Kids to Ngamotu Beach at the weekend. The OW4K initiative inspires kids about offshore wind through hands-on learning experiences building model wind turbines.
Several families came along, including a few really young kiddies with their Dads (who may or may not have borrowed a kid for the day so they could have a go for themselves) 😊
Some were brave enough to take on the small breakers and get their floating turbines in the water – others were not quite so lucky.
